Here are 9 things that I wish I had been taught when I was in my early twenties:
- How to be a good husband
- How to be a good father to young children
- How to be good father to teenagers
- The importance of family prayers
- How to be a good employee
- How to be a good co-worker
- How to tell my friends about Jesus in a way that makes them want to hear more
- How to walk with Jesus through every hour of each day
- How important holiness is
Why is it that churches don't seem to teach much of these things that are so vital for successful Christian living?
It seems that Christians who weren't brought up in Christian homes don't know this stuff, and Christians who were brought up in Christian homes don't realise that the rest of us don't know it.
