Voting

What criteria do you apply in deciding who to vote for?

Maybe you vote for the party your parents voted for, or for the party that they voted against (you lttle rebel, you). Maybe you vote for whichever party you think will most benefit you in terms of taxation or state benefits.

But - if you're a Christian - shouldn't you vote for the party that is closest in philosophy and practice to what the Bible teaches?

The Bible talks about taxation, war, poverty, citizenship, crime and punishment, wages, property, sex, honesty, justice, trade and many other things. Have you ever stopped to think about whether the party you tend to vote for supports or opposes Biblical standards in these and other areas?
