More than Conquerors - Part 3

Remembering that Jesus Loves Us

In the studies for the last two weeks, we've been looking at:

Romans 8v37
... we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

This week, we examine the second condition that Paul identifies in the context of that verse for actually living like a conqueror. This condition is:

Remembering that Jesus loves us so much
that He is interceding for us
- even when we're having a bad day

Paul said, again in the context of Romans 8v37:

Romans 8v34-35
... Christ Jesus, who died - more than that, who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?...

Romans 8v38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NOTHING will ever separate from Christ's love. Nothing now, nothing in the future. He loves us so much that - right now - He's praying for us.

If you belong to Jesus Christ, then your future doesn't depend on you - it depends on Him. And that's good to know!

Can a Christian lose His salvation? Can the trials you're going through cause you to reject Him so totally that your name is blotted out of the Book of Life? If your future depended on you, then the answer would be "yes". But our future depends on Him! As Paul said elsewhere:

2 Timothy 1v12
... I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.

Yes, dearly beloved. HE is able to guard our futures!
